The events team at Catterick Market have been busy working on a few novel ideas to keep the atmosphere fresh at the Sunday Market.

New banners, Name the Forest competition, live performances and film crews have all made an appearance.

Our Triathlete

We have just purchased a brand new triathlon bike for one of our crepe makers.

Marc is trying to qualify for the GB age group squad and complete the Ironman Lanzarote in 2009. He will be racing in London this year and will do a 1.5k swim, 40km bike followed by a 10k run. With a bit of luck we might even be able to get him a LodaCrepe race suit.

We thought we would help where we could and kick started his quest. He wants to build a real speed machine by selling everything he has on ebay and looking for people and companies to sponsor him.

We took great pleasure in giving Marc half the money towards his frame (he sold his playstation, kite surfing gear, DVD's and clothes to pay for the other half). Please help, if you can, by visiting his website www.justri.co.uk
